Leading sandwich chain, Pret A Manger, selects LEWIS PR to be its new global PR agency
Thursday, January 20th, 2011One of the world’s most innovative sandwich chains, Pret A Manger, has chosen LEWIS to be its new global PR agency, covering corporate, consumer and social media communications.
Pret, which is 25 years old in 2011, has been one of the fastest-growing UK-based food retailers. It now has over 240 shops across the UK, the USA and Hong Kong. LEWIS will be helping to build the Pret brand further around the world and preparing the chain for its 25th birthday.
LEWIS will also be advising on and running Pret’s social media channels, ensuring that they reflect strong customer loyalty, the innovative Pret products and the great team personalities helping customers in all of the Pret shops.
Apart from the delicious sandwiches and salads made freshly in each shop every day, Pret is perhaps best known for supporting charities in the UK, US and Hong Kong by giving free food at the end of each day to help those less fortunate. During 2010 alone, Pret gave away over 1.7 million meals to the homeless.
