Socialite is the first <a href="http://www.actiance.com/products/socialite.aspx" target="_blank">social media enablement platform</a> to incorporate CRM data from Salesforce. As a result, employees can account for and monitor sales discussions happening across social media channels and tie each communication to follow up recorded in Salesforce.</p>
<p>Socialite helps employees share pre-approved content, ensure authenticity of voice, measure impact and <a href="http://www.actiance.com/products/socialite.aspx" target="_blank">increase engagement across social media channels</a>. The platform includes a robust analytics engine that allows managers to analyze the impact of the distributed content within their network and measure the results on sales and network growth. The integration with Salesforce ensures Actiance can provide customers with a complete set of metrics across these two platforms to evaluate current sales programs, highlight top performing employees and identify best practice approaches that can be implemented company wide.</p>
<p>Socialite provides organizations with the ability to empower users in their usage of social media, from the provisioning of appropriate content to the measurement of resulting effects from that content. Through the tracking of key connections, users can focus on those friends or followers who are of particular importance to them. Users can utilize a pre-populated content library to share with their network, or distribute their own content knowing that this is run through a compliance workflow to protect the individual and the organization.</p>
<p>Key features of this new offering include:</p>
<p>• Automatically link Socialite connections to a user’s Salesforce accounts and contacts</p>
<p>• Send Socialite activity to Salesforce when contacts provide feedback or respond to posted content</p>
<p>• Deliver summary reports of social activities from Salesforce contacts</p>
<p>Socialite provides granular control for social networking sites, including the specific ability to manage access and content shared across 200 features on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Socialite logs conversations and content, captures posts and deletes, messages and commentary in context, and provides for the export of data to an archive for post review and retention.</p>
<p>The Salesforce connector will be generally available on August 31 as a no-cost option for Socialite.</p>

The Principal® is a global investment management leader, offering businesses, individuals and institutional clients a wide range of financial products and services, including retirement, asset management and insurance.</p>
<p>To ensure compliance with various regulatory requirements, The Principal sought a single platform that would be able to handle the needs of home office and field-based representatives. The solution needed to monitor social media conversations of representatives with clients and prospects, including traffic originating from a multitude of devices. After an extensive Request for Proposal (RFP) process, The Principal chose Actiance’s Socialite platform for its device-agnostic approach and monitoring capabilities. The solution met the requirements for monitoring and archiving conversations from a PC, Mac, tablet or smartphone.</p>
<p>Socialite provides <a href="http://www.actiance.com/products/socialite.aspx" target="_blank">granular control for social networking sites</a>, including the specific ability to manage access and content shared across 200 features on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Socialite logs conversations and content, captures posts, messages and commentary in context, and provides for the export of data to an archive for post review and retention.</p>

<p>AltaTek has strong reputation within the defense and intelligence communities for delivering innovative technologies that enhance the performance and security of complex networks. The partnership with Actiance supports the growing use of unified communications (UC) within the federal space and the need to secure these platforms, while enforcing a centralized corporate policy &#8212; areas that rogue real-time applications attempt to circumvent.</p>
<p>Vantage from Actiance, is the de facto platform for <a href="http://www.actiance.com/products/vantage.aspx" target="_blank">granular security, policy controls</a>, and compliance features for real-time and unified communications. <p>For the financial services industry, the Socialite platform ensures compliance with all the applicable regulatory and government guidelines, such as recent SEC alerts and <a href="http://info.actiance.com/lp=221" target="_blank">Financial Industry Regulatory Advisory (FINRA) notices 10-06 and 11-39</a>. The platform includes a robust analytics engine that allows managers to analyze the impact of the distributed content and measure the results on sales and network growth.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Reading, UK </strong>– <a href="http://www.actiance.com" target="_blank">Actiance</a>, enablers of the safe and compliant use of unified communications, collaboration and Web 2.0, today announced that <a href="http://www.fmgsupport.co.uk/Pages/FMGSupport.aspx" target="_blank">FMG Support</a>, the UK&#8217;s leading incident management and roadside assistance provider, is using <a href="http://www.actiance.com/products/vantage.aspx" target="_blank">Vantage from Actiance</a> to augment security and compliance controls as it upgrades its unified communications to <a href="http://lync.microsoft.com/en-us/Pages/default.aspx" target="_blank">Microsoft Lync</a>.</p>
<p>Microsoft Lync is extremely effective as a <a href="http://info.actiance.com/lp=96" target="_blank">unified communications (UC) platform</a>, but it does not natively provide the capabilities to meet the corporate governance best practices that FMG Support follows, nor does it prevent users from using unauthorised public real-time communications.  Vantage from Actiance enables FMG Support to set acceptable use policies for each employee, such as what departments can communicate with each other, which applications are approved for use on the enterprise network and what types of information are restricted from leaving the organisation.</p>
<p>Vantage’s centralised policy setting mechanism recognises not only Microsoft Lync, but other UC platforms, <a href="http://www.actiance.com/products/vantage.aspx" target="_blank">public instant messaging (IM) services and other Web 2.0 applications</a>, allowing FMG Support to manage its collaborative communications environment with ease.</p>
<p>Vantage provides a comprehensive archive of all exchanges that take place over UC and federated services as well as native public IM services. FMG’s policy is that that all business conversations need to be stored securely, however UC’s multi-dimensional nature can make the process of archiving, storing and retrieving multi-party chats exponentially more complex.</p>
<p>A simple chat conversation might include numerous participants joining at different times, creating a requirement to understand the context surrounding each participants understanding of these conversations – who entered – and left the conversation at what point during the discussion. Vantage enables FMG Support to understand the context of conversation easily, no matter how long ago it took place. Integrated with Active Directory, Vantage enables FMG Support to map a user’s buddy-name to their Active Directory corporate identity, helping to identify individuals to their corporate account.</p>
<p>The fleet management firm has been using secure web gateway product, <a href="http://www.actiance.com/products/unified-security-gateway.aspx" target="_blank">Unified Security Gateway</a> (USG) from Actiance since 2008. FMG Support initially chose the solution as it provided the ability to archive the transcripts of public IM conversations, a capability that traditional secure web gateway solutions were unable to do.</p>
