Information Controls, a service-based company helping businesses control employee time and attendance, can now connect to existing WiFi networks, while also integrating directly with its customers’ various payroll systems. This saves Information Controls’ customers’ time and reduces their installation costs.

Information Controls provides a wide-range of electronic time clocks that collect employee information using several methods, including PIN entry, proximity cards and biometric hand readers. Previously, the company leveraged Lantronix’ MatchPort® product to deliver Ethernet connectivity, but found many of its customers were requesting wireless connectivity. For this reason, Information Controls upgraded its product line by embedding Lantronix’ MatchPort b/g Pro. The product’s compact, single-socket form factor enabled quick integration, requiring minimal redesign.
