Information Controls provides a wide-range of electronic time clocks that collect employee information using several methods, including PIN entry, proximity cards and biometric hand readers. Previously, the company leveraged Lantronix’ MatchPort® product to deliver Ethernet connectivity, but found many of its customers were requesting wireless connectivity. For this reason, Information Controls upgraded its product line by embedding Lantronix’ MatchPort b/g Pro. The product’s compact, single-socket form factor enabled quick integration, requiring minimal redesign.
