Dallas, TX Quickoffice, Inc., the global leader in mobile office productivity solutions, announced additional enhancements to four of its applications for Android tablets and smartphones, iPad and Symbian devices, in the third quarter of 2011. The company gained an additional 4 million registered users in the period and reached eleven million new registered users in 2011, a benchmark that supports its rapid development and growth.

Addressing the evolving needs of consumers and enterprises, Quickoffice’s latest Android Honeycomb tablet and smartphone app updates deliver a more streamlined mobile workflow through advanced editing capabilities. The first mobile Office suite to integrate with popular social networking sites, Quickoffice’s latest iPad app update enables users to publish and share documents across Twitter, Facebook, Yammer and LinkedIn. Quickoffice is also the most ‘connected’ mobile Office application available, a result of the company’s new partnerships with cloud access partners Evernote and Catch.

Quickoffice was recently named in the top 20 percent of the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies. With a three-year sales growth rate of 368 percent, more consumers and businesses use the Quickoffice productivity suite than ever before. In this same quarter, Nielsen named Quickoffice one of the top 20 Android apps in the US. This was determined by overall active reach, which is the percentage of Android owners who used an app within the past 30 days; Quickoffice placed ninth at 25.3 percent. The company also placed third on The Fast Tech list, comprised of 35 North Texas technology companies and based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2008 to 2010.

Quickoffice continued to be ranked in the Top 10 grossing apps on the iPad and also announced shipping as an embedded app on the Android-based Toshiba Thrive.
