Quickoffice Rolls Out New Updates to its Mobile Office Suite for Apple iPads for the Holidays

Top-grossing productivity application compatible with iOS 5 offers key usability enhancements

Wednesday, December 21st, 2011

Dallas, TX – Quickoffice, Inc., the global leader in mobile office productivity solutions, has released several usability enhancements to improve Apple users’ mobile productivity experience. One of the first mobile Office applications to integrate with iOS 5, Quickoffice updated its comprehensive feature set to include additional font options, word counting capabilities and the ability to create and edit merged cells in Excel. The software update is now available for Quickoffice® Pro HD for iPad.

Consistently releasing incremental improvements to its apps, Quickoffice now enables greater Microsoft Office editing capabilities for on-the-go workers. Users can select a wide array of fonts, such as Arial Narrow, Calibri, Cambria, Courier New and Helvetica Nueve, when creating Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. Quickoffice also enables Apple device users to open 2003 password files, view PDF files, click actionable hyperlinks and insert numbered lists.

Recently, Quickoffice added integration with SharePlus on the iPad. This enables mobile workers to seamlessly edit Office files and save them back to their SharePoint Document Library. Through this new feature, Quickoffice tracks each file’s origin, allowing users to send back an edited, native document to its original source, which avoids having duplicate files in numerous locations and eliminates confusion over where the latest version is located.

Quickoffice enables consumers to access, view, edit and share MicrosoftÒ Office documents. It is the most ‘connected’ application in the Apple App Store, providing seamless, integrated access to popular cloud partners. The Quickoffice iPad app offers access to Box.net, Dropbox, GoogleDocs®, MobileMeTM, Evernote, Catch, SugarSync and Huddle™, as well as the ability to share files across social sites Docstoc, Facebook, LinkedIn, SlideShare, Twitter and Yammer.

Quickoffice® Pro HD for iPad is available in the business category at a promotional price of $19.99.
