Addressing enterprises’ need for secure editing of content, SaveBack™ enhances mobile security between applications

Wednesday, March 28th, 2012

Dallas, TX – Quickoffice, Inc., the global leader in mobile office productivity solutions, today announced a partnership with Box. Together, Quickoffice and Box have integrated Quickoffice’s patent-pending API, SaveBack, into Box OneCloud. Now, enterprises using both Box and Quickoffice gain enhanced data security through SaveBack. SaveBack provides easy, secure file access and editing capabilities between applications, ensuring documents, spreadsheets and presentations are edited and saved only as authorized. Quickoffice is also a premier Box OneCloud integration partner, offering an additional sales channel for Quickoffice to reach enterprise customers.

Box is joining a rapidly growing ecosystem of Quickoffice SaveBack partners, including Copiun, Huddle, Oxygen Cloud, Stratospherix and Syncplicity, along with Accellion, Alfresco, Egnyte, GroupLogic, Moprise and SouthLabs, who were previously announced. SaveBack was also integrated in the recently released Quickoffice ProSelect HD application. This iOS app addresses enterprises’ mobile security requirements and offers IT administrators enhanced control with configurable features. For example, managers can turn ‘on’ or ‘off’ WiFi file sharing, cloud storage services, cut/copy/paste and social network sharing within ProSelect HD’s powerful mobile Office editors.
